Andrey Levus about Normandy negotiations with Ermak and Kozak

The Ukrainian edition of Deutsche Welle published the resonant news that Ukraine will be obliged to hold talks with representatives of the so-called “Luhansk People’s Republick” and “Donetsk People’s Republick” at the summit of political advisers of the Normandy format. It is necessary to comment on this situation and clarify everything.

First, there are no “republics”. There are occupation administrations of the occupation troops of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. These are just puppets who are either Russian citizens by birth or have acquired citizenship. After all, we know that Russia has distributed more than half a million of its passports in the occupied territories.

Secondly, Ukraine and these so-called separatists cannot intersect as equal actors. It is impossible to negotiate with them, because we recognize, and Ukrainian law on this clearly states that the aggression was carried out by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. We are not dealing with an internal conflict, not with separatists, but with the hybrid occupation of Ukrainian lands. Therefore, all attempts to put Russia in brackets are immoral and contradict all possible norms of international law and common sense.

I appeal to our friends and partners from France, Germany and other countries. You have built your countries on the foundation of law, justice, human rights and rights of nations. Some of your politicians try to humiliate us and force Ukraine to make concessions with puppets which are being assigned by Russian FSB. It contradicts all values of the EU. Your actions are amoral. They destroy the basis of European civilization. Don’t shame yourselves and great legacy of European culture. You should fight for human rights and for the right of nations to live free life. Economical pragmatism on which your decisions are made is blinded by the desire of quick profit. But you should understand that Russia will fool you. After it swallows Ukraine Russia will look for a new victim. Who’s going to be next? Baltic countries, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic? Do you really think your turn won’t come?

I also appeal to the authorities. We understand that we live in an age when special pieces of information are often thrown in. Including to shake up the situation from within. But we, as the Resisitance to Capitulation Movement, as representatives of the patriotic environment, already had that discussion in 2019 – 2021. You understand that even if you negotiate with Dmitry Kozak, even if you receive Putinferstehen from the EU or other countries, Ukrainians will never, never, never allow you to integrate Ukraine into the “LDPR”. After all, this is how this “cluster” French capitulation, Steinmeier’s formula and all other attempts to fulfill the absolutely immoral and illegal Minsk agreements imposed on Ukraine by force and blackmail will end.

Now is the time to put the whole “peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbass” on a solid footing. The only basis is international law, laws and the Constitution of Ukraine. Therefore, if any of you decide to take a risk again, as you tried with the “advisory board” or on the eve of the 2019 Normandy Summit, we strongly advise you not to take the risk now. You will act as provocateurs who destabilize the situation in the country. As soon as you take a step towards legitimizing the “LDPR”, we will simply drive you out. And we will no longer drive these round dances.

It is enough to keep the country on the brink of an abyss, it is enough to eat our nerves, look into the robes of China, run to Dmitry Kozak, and then ask for something from America. Stand with your people, support the Constitution. It says that Ukraine is an indivisible state which have chosen the Euro-Atlantic path of development. Once you get back to your intrigue, you will have very little time to escape. You won’t run away. We have already studied all this experience in 2014. Everything will be fast and legal. Because it is we who defend the Constitution, which you have been destroying in all these three years.

I appeal to Ukrainians. Do not disperse panic now. Check sources, but be prepared. And say that we thank our allies – Great Britain, the United States, the Baltic countries, Poland, and many others. But always remember our main thesis. Even if the West agrees with Putin and Zelensky’s government capitulates, Ukrainians will resist and win.
